My name is Keith Farah, and I am a Community Support Specialist at Centerstone Addiction Recovery Center. I have been an employee of Centerstone for three years, and got my start working with teens struggling with addiction at The Lighthouse. As a Community Support Specialist, I have the privilege of not only teaching the clients about the nature of their addiction, but also the opportunity to share my experience with them.
I have been sober for four years, and life has brought many gifts my way. I returned to school this fall to pursue a degree in Counseling. I have three daughters, Paige, Haley, and Taylor, and watching them grow to be young women is truly a gift as well. I am a strong advocate for equality and have had the fortune to participate in movements on the local level.
When I am away from work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, Jennifer, who is also an employee of Centerstone. My idea of relaxing is a nice cigar, an even better cup of coffee, and enjoying nature. I consider it a pretty good life for guy who showed up here as a client, unemployed, homeless, and broken. And it just keeps getting better…
