As a Senior Therapist at our Child & Family South location, Caroline provides services to parents and children ages 2-7, primarily as part of our Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) program. Her work also entails administrative tasks, including documentation, meetings, supervisions and phone calls, but the most important part of her day is the time she spends with families. She takes pride in her ability to form positive relationships with others.
Caroline started out doing graduate internships with Child & Family South before becoming a full-time employee of Centerstone Kentucky. In total, she has been with Centerstone for over four years. Her co-workers value her expertise with young children and PCIT, her willingness to collaborate on client families and her great personality. “Caroline is a very committed, engaging, talented and caring person who has made a real difference in the lives of her clients, and our agency,” writes Elizabeth Jackson, Licensed Psychologist. “She takes initiative to continue to grow and learn, and was recently awarded status as a Certified PCIT therapist.” In addition to her PCIT certification, Caroline is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Caroline was recently married in April 2017, and she and her husband are the proud owners of a black lab named Pepper. They enjoy staying active and traveling as much as possible. They have combined both of their passions and set an ambitious goal of completing one running race in each state. They even just completed their first CrossFit couples competition! What’s more, Caroline has completed two Ragnar relay races, something she considers to be her proudest physical accomplishment. She also volunteers annually with Outrun the Sun at the Indianapolis 500 to promote sun safety and provide free sunscreen to race-goers.
